Hope they go about their job with efficiency and purpose and help in unearthing the truth!
The step is good as immediate consideration is necessary but god only knows what is the output of the probe.
I think the probe will result in submission of a true report as it is related to why such havoc has been created in spite of alloting huge amount of money?
The comptroller and auditor General is supreme audit authority and he has complete structure for verifying accounts and documents. He cannot go beyond documentary evidence. The chief Vigilance commissioner can adopt other means like interrogating suspected offenders. The combined efforts of both are likely to give good results. But many politicians including those in power are possibly involved. It remains to be seen whether the real culprits are actually actually punished.
It is nice to appoint the enquiry commission before cooling the games spirit.
Even the Delhi chief minister Mrs Sheila Dikshit is happy about the instantaneous action taken by the PM to probe the CWG corruption. :) :)
Now Kalmadi asks for a probe of Dixit's government's spending of 16,000 crores!
Many big people will come out if conducted properly..as lot of investement was done.
The game was a great success in midst of all these controversies.Kalmadi really deserve appreciation for this.
I would be the first one to appreciate once he comes clean on this !
