"My personal experiences"

Hmmm. Really can not choose any particular incident. For a start, why don't you share one first and lead the others ?

I may give my personal experience on how I learnt English. I had study in Hindi school upto Class V. On posting of my father to kanpur, I was admittedin English medium convent school. I knew only alphabets. On first day,I was asked to read a passage. I knewno english. I pronounced each word very ridiculously. I pronounced 'Began' as 'Baingan' (Brinjal) in Hindi. The whole class laughed. This was very bad experience. But I took courage and began speaking and writing in English only. In six months, I was the best in English proficiency in the whole class.
