If your daily life is often under pressure you should not let it be for too long. You should be careful because prolonged stress can lead to depression.

Try to eat these following foods if you experience stress. here are six foods which could help you eliminate stress healthily.

Orange
A German study published in the Psychopharmacology journal found that vitamin C can help you reduce stress and restore blood pressure and cortisol (hormone that causes stress) to normal levels after your stress. Vitamin C is also known to boost the immune system.

Sweet potato
Sweet potatoes can reduce your stress. Because sweet potatoes will meet the needs of the body to get carbs when you are under stress. Sweet potatoes contain beta-carotene vitamins which will help your body to process carbohydrates.

Spinach
Magnesium deficiency can cause migraine headaches and fatigue. A bowl of spinach contains magnesium 40 percent of your daily needs.


Avocado
Fats and potassium in avocados helps lower blood pressure. One of the best ways to lower blood pressure is to consume enough potassium (avocados have more than bananas).

Green Vegetables
Broccoli, kale, and green vegetables can also help our bodies to not become vulnerable during times of stress.

Besides from food intake, there are other tips to reduce stress, among others:
- Regular exercise
- Eat small meals (such as fruits or low calorie biscuits) throughout the day, which will make your blood sugar stable.
