I paid a bribe

Thanks for providing this link! I think corruption is so rampant in government offices and reporting them through this thread is a good idea!

It is really good idea to join hands and completely eradicate this ugly element from our society..I hope people should take this as good oppurtunity and report...

Deepti- This is just a forum. As long as there are people who will give bribe for getting undue favour and those accepting bribe, there is no solution.
Many give bribe to railway for train reservations. They do not care to book their best in advance despite prior program. The bribe giver and taker both are guilty.

But Gulshan, No one would be willing to bribe just for fun...
If there are bribe takers, there would be bribe givers, and vice-versa.
Every thing is present in the law. If there is some action taken against the bribe taker, then this problem would be solved very easily. :(

That's right! It always takes more than one hand to do this!!!

The other areas where more bribing is seen is the registration offices where they do land registrations and offices issuing driving license. :(

From clerk to collector... Everybody needs to be bribed.. :( That is the state of India... This has been deep rooted problem.. :(

It is rooted problem..and i think even jails can not accomadate the culprits if caught ...the thinking should be changed.. :unsure:

As I have mentioned earlier that it's the government sector ehich is the happy hunting ground for corrupt people!

The worst thing is even the jailers are bribed by culprits to use cellphones. :( :(

A jailer is a small cog in the wheel and even some of the judges are corrupt according to a former Law Minister!!

we sholud erodicate this system in india by taking necessary actions .........

It's a vicious cycle in which bribe-giver and bribe-taker both keep this system alive!

Yes people take corruption..but why is that???

Because people give corruption to make the work fast..

Many of them in this site would have given bribe...but it is good that we have a forum that atleast takes our pleas into consideration....
