Maruti Suzuki hands over cars for CWG use

The Delhi Commonwealth Games, which has been facing flak over the slow progress of preparations, has been given a 'lift' from Maruti Suzuki. The country's leading car maker on Tuesday, Sep 28 handed over two Maruti Suzuki SX4 Hybrid cars and one Eeco Charge for use at the upcoming sporting event.

SX4 Hybrid and Eeco Charge concept development has been taken up by Maruti Suzuki.It is as a part of the Government initiated NHPP (National Hybrid Propulsion Program (NHPP) and the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy Sources (MNRE)’s High Energy Density Battery Development Program.

Good news to know! All the corporates are helping to make it a success is something one must be very happy about!
A good step for marketing the cars of Maruti.I think they were waiting to come out the last steps of game.
