This is a cognizable offence but in this country who cares for it!
right chinmoy in this country nobody is afraid of laws.
Whenever any breach of law is reported, police take action. But the law is not enforced as a matter of course. In fact there are too many regulations and law. The police should be required to act only when there is some damage caused to voluntarily and unjustly against somebody. In the case, the boys would be technically minors but they are able to go to a bar and spend money on party. In such cases, legal intervention is waste of govt. resources.
The person irrespective of age should care about their own health...the business person can not be blame for this as it is their business and they do not care about the harm created by them..

The business person can be considered guilty if he deliberately commits fraud and adulterates food or drinks. In this case, there is no allegation of selling bad quality or adulterated wine. The customers even though minor had voluntarily gone there. It is not feasible for managers to verify age proof of customers. The time of police or really the time of public (police are paid from taxes collected from us) is being wasted unnecessarily. The police should be called in only when there is fraud, corruption, adulteration, undue violence or torture etc. Police need not be called for moral policing. This will be waste of public money.
There are no perfect laws in this country in many regards....

But i take a different ground on this.. its a moral duty of bar manager not to serve liquor to minors.... its agreed that it is his business....but then to it is an offence...
he should punished severely so nobody imitate him in future......................
I am simply disgusted with the 'Chalta Hai' attitude of the police and administration of this country and this very attitude has landed us in Commonwealth Games mess!
We really don't know where the country is heading towards? :(
we are heading towards nothing as india would be nothing if no law is in place.
There are lot of bad things in this world which will greatly influence children. So, it is the parent's responsibility to bring up children in a good manner.
It's increasingly becoming very difficult for the parents to bring up their children the way they want as the influence of the ouside world is so pervasive!
The best way is Parents being a role model to their children. :) :)
That's right,Nagalakshmi! We need to inculcate moral values in them!
Agree with nagalakshmi and chinmoy...parents should be a role model for children but in today's busy life most of the parents have tendency to escape from their responsibility..they just give pocket money not good principles..and if anything happens they blame child or say it is bad influence of friends..
Parents think that giving money to children will suffice all their needs. Their duty does not stop with that. Every parent has the responsibility of grooming a good human being.
Strict and Stringent action should be taken against such persons. But who cares?
