global warming

Hi! It's a great pleasure welcoming you! I think you have raised the most relevant topic at this point of time. The scientists have been warning us for several years of this grave problem.But we tended to ignore them. Looking at the wild variation in the climatic pattern this year one can conclusively say that "Global Warming" is the most serious issue before us.

The mindless industrialization and development is continuously reducing forests, agriculture and wild life. Thus we are destroying nature and ultimately killing ourselves. Unless we reverse the trend, there is no hope.

This is an award winning ad in US which was scripted by a 3 yr old girl: Please save the earth, this is the only place where we get chocolates. That's the situation now. Even though we need not believe the mayanic prediction that world ends by 2012. It can be made true if we go on releasing harmful substances all the earth not leaving one place as pure. Steps should start from one's home. If we save electricity, gas, water, separate degradable (eg:food items) and non-degradable wastes (eg:plastic covers)...etc by which we can create awareness to our neighbors and there by start the change slowly. Apt is the quote: Be the change You want to be.

a good and hot topic for discussion.. It is indeed time for each of us to do our bit to reeduce global warming. Some are planting some kind of vegetation around or atleast inside the house, using energy efficient products and cleaning them atlease once a month (to cut the emissions to minimum)
cycling to nearby places, saving on electricity..
