CWG games might be called off !!

i fear its too late now.International players have been quite unhappy over the overall preparations out there !!

This is how a cookie crumbles! We have shamed ourselves before the world!!!

I don't think this is possible that anyone if still wish can cancel the CWG.Now this is gonna to be... just wait for some miraculous good for nation's pride...!

I woke with the news that the overbridge which is the entrance to the main JNU stadium crashed and the contractor has been blacklisted when he should been shot dead.What our political animals are up to! They are ready to sell this country for anything!!

we shud have done this "analysis" abt the game's status before we bid for this 9 years back. Not now.

Suresh Kalmadi owes to the nation what he has been doing all these years and he had temerity to challenge the doubts expressed by the visiting delegaton some years back!!

The big shame to this country that Pakistan police comes for inspection of security , whereas they cant stop the terriost attect on aussie team in Pakistan ?

Players are complaining that toilet, bathroom and sleeping place is not clean and properly maintained in CWG village. Many players boycotted the game mainly for this reason :ohmy:

i really hope they get called off!at least some corrupt pepl will get suspended that way.

Those who were entrusted with the job got so busy in sharing the loot which obviously was their main job that the real job suffered to create this appalling mess!!

The ill-preparedness of the Games Village has even irked the Commonwealth Games Federation with its President Michael Fennell shooting off a letter to Indian Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar, asking him to take immediate steps to address the issue.
The buildup to the Delhi Games has been marred by corruption controversies and problems related to construction and security concerns. He said it would be very hard for the athletes to concentrate on their events with uncertainty looming large over the Games.

what can we expect from the bunch of jokers like kalmadi company but it is the fault of congress government who failed to step in time .

This will be good. Commonwealth membership itself is symbolic allegiance to British crown. We should not only call off the games but also withdraw from the commonwealth, which is nothing but gathering of ex slaves of British empire, who still are proud of this slavish past. The other members like Australia, Canada are predominantly whites and have no problem in owing allegiance to British crown. U.S.A. is also not a commonwealth member. any self respecting nation claiming sovereignty cannot be commonwealth member.

It is really sad to hear when some other country men say that none of the preparations are up to the mark. :(

Yes--- After seeing the bridge collapse near the CWG stadium, I was shocked...

As RajDeep Sardesai said "These games are not for the pride of the country, They are shame for the country" :(

Now what's the point in employing 125 mcd workers to clean up the CWG village? :(

It's a prestige issue.The governement of India should keep in mind the prestige of India

Indian prestige is out there in dustbins after teams raise issue of hygiene and sanitation. leave alone the case of work not being complete !!

I think the only person who must be delighted at this turn of events is Mani Shankar Aiyar!!!
