Casino would help or hurt

To my point of view it is increasing to the source of income only.

I am now in Singapore and there is a casino here but the income of this casino is even greater than the world's largest casino in las Vegas.

After the opening of casino in Singapore its helping in their annual income

casino increases the trend of borrowing and in the end nation ends up having huge public debts. european countries are currently suffering due to huge public debts.

Indian economy is growing because it is common for Indians to save and not to borrow.

In my view certainly casino would hurt people too as well as economy too....

People will cultivate a habit of borrowing....

It has both merits and demerit so cannot conclude that it is helpful nor say it is useless..

The lure of easy money drives people to throng casinos.It's not a desirable economic activity.A gamble best avoided in life!!

I strongly dislike gambling. The money earned by a person in gambling is the money lost by other person. :(

people go for gambling becoz one can earn a huge amount in a single night. it has also serious consiquence of losing everything. because of this reason some say it should be banned.

Casino is an advanced form of gambling.I don't support gambling. Hard earned money will only stay with us.Rest will wash away. :)

Gambling is so much fun and it can change fortune of people. I have heard many casinos operating in Goa. Don't you think other states should legalize gambling too?

There are all kinds of manipulations in it whatever I have heard about it.It's also considered by many as a den of vice!

if you want to earn money without doing work gambling is very nice,but the matter is you need to hav strengthy heart.

People get addicted easily and if luck is there we can get some output or else depression

Sorry, it helps, because in casino poor peoples are not allowed and rich people are always welcome, that means, rich peoples are spending their money lot and lot in casino, which goes indirectly to government as a tax.

It is not only gambling that happens in Casino's. Drinking, drugs and all other anti social things can be observed in casino's.

That is reason it is described as a den of vices.All sorts of shady characters roam these casinos!!

Nalakshmi, I know it is wrong for us... but I am talking about rich peoples who can spend a lot more than I earn in year,

and government has given a license to casino for drugs and drinkings, and government is making revenue from it, as rich peoples are stealing money from tax and put in casino,

this way or that way government is making money... that is what I think...

This is not applicable to peoples from poor or middle class like me
