Any living thing may commit suicide. The insects burn themselves in fire. However suicide is implementation of a conscious decision to end one's life. The animals work on instinct and not conscious plan. Secondly, animals have far less reasons for suicude. They cannot lose lottery, fail in exam and career. Thus, the animals are very less likely to commit suicide.
