Weekly Contest Winners (Merged)

Hi All,

The Member of the Month and Best Commenter of the Month contests are no longer active. We feel that instead of having contests monthly and giving single big credit to one person, giving more credits to number of people is a best approach.

As part of the above approach, we have started PoW and FSoW contests and we will be launching more contests soon.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

The best comment and article is bit complex to decide. The best poll is good one. Infact I would prefer, Creative Poll of the Week. What do you say?

As two major contests from the site are removed.Come with new credit giving options so that users are attracted to stay active in our site.

And thus divide the cash credit of removed contests for active members of site ...

It is already started in the form of Forum Supporter of the Week and Poller of the Week contests. We will introduce more contests soon.

There was a suggestion by our member for 'best topic of the week' award from forums sections,have you given consideration for that?I guess you can add that here too

Well we can add that provided there is a good criteria to decide the best. Please suggest how can we decide the best topic.

Since we have shifted the contests from monthy to weekly,I guess we can select the best topic which has been in the popular discussion among the members for the week and just like forum supporter,the person who initiated the topic will get the award.

1. article of the week.(max rs 50)
2. commenter of the week.(max rs 50)
3. weblinker of the week.(max rs 50)
4. cash for referring maximum active member(max rs 50, we can keep this a monthly)
5. Allrounder of the week.( like member who contribute in all sections.-- articles,comments,poll,votes,forum,referrals,weblinks and others) (Rs 100- Rs 200)

Atul,

Best Article, Commenter, Weblinker, Allrounder or Member of the Month. These are expired contests. Bringing them back is not possible now.

We need some creative thoughts. All of these are common things which can be found anywhere. If nobody finds anything, we will start Topic of the Week.

Ohh.. hmmm. maverick yeah.

we can have another contest,as we are missing a good and impressive email for inviting members to convince them to join our website.

I think we can take up occasional cash contest.

it nice to hear that this award will get if i selected for particular think. if active member is less than chance may be more to win. if increases active member than more competition will be there.
