Dear Friends,

A quick review over what is Adverb and Adjective and where to use them!

*An Adverb is generally an Adjective + 'ly'/'ily'

Example - He's is a careful driver
He drives carefully

careful-Adjective
carefully-adverb

*An Adjective tells you about a noun
Ex- A slow car (slow-adjective)

*An adverb tells you about a verb
Ex- He drives slowly (slowly-adverb)

Adjective--->Noun
Adverb------>Verb

*If an Adjective word ends in 'y' ,change the 'y' to 'i+ly'
Ex-Noisy-noisily
Easy-Easily
Angry-angrily

*If an Adjective word ends in 'l' , change the 'l' to 'ly'
Ex-Beautiful-Beautifully
Careful-Carefully

*There are a few exceptional cases of adjectives like 'fast' 'Hard' 'Late, where in the 'ly' doesnot come in its adverb form.

which one??

Here what how whih are adjectives. but it does not qualify the noun

Well

Look at the sentences it makes and not phrases.When we speak casually among friends,we say how much,and which one
But when we write,we need to use the entire sentence

Like
'What kind of a person is he?' here, the emphasis is on the 'person'

'How much money do you have?',here,the emphasis is on 'money'

'Which one of them is Sheela',here,the emphasis is on the person named 'Sheela'

Now,the adjectives 'what,how,which' describes the Nouns,'person,money and Sheela'

Hope your doubt is cleared :)
