Two students saved 600 students

600 students residing in an hostel near Shivdi in Mumbai was saved from gas leakage by presence of mind of 2 students from same hostel.
These students hails from Lalbahadur Shastri College of Marine Engineering, Shivdi, Mumbai. 2 students, Deepak Rastogi and Narsit Imam were studying in their hostel rooms when they smell something odd. They came to know that it is a chlorine gas leakage.

Sensing the danger, both ran to all six floors of hostel waking up every student. Few more students joined them. Remembering the instructions learned in classes for such accidents, they asked everybody to mask themselves with wet cloth and not to use elevators.

In a mean time, both also informed the same to hostel warden and college principal.

Few of the students were hospitalized but discharged later as harm was very less due to proper precautions were taken earlier.
