Tourist Place Of my city

I live at Bhubaneswar.
Bhubaneswar is famous for LINGARAJ TEMPLE.
DHAULI Hills which is 8 kilometer far from Bhubaneswar and is famous for Kalinga war and King Ashok.
And Khandagiri Cave is 6 kilometer far from Bhubaneswar is famous for Jainism

There are some tourists spots in chennai.

to my knowledge ,

2.muttukadu boating
3.crocodile park
4.pebbles beach
5.marina beach
6.snake park

Since chennai is a big city only you could see shopping malls everywhere.

There is one very famous Tourist Place near my city

"Ajanta caves"

Just like this there was a thread started by me two months ago.Since it had drowned under games tsunami I post the rest here.

My nearest City is Calicut where the first foreigner to India Vasco Da Gama landed in 1498

The tourist places near my hometown, ie Pune are several:

Twin hillstations of Lonavala and Khandala - with numerous waterfalls and breathtaking valleys. The hottest destination for youth and adventurous hikers!!

Malavali - on teh same route as Lonavala - ancient Chaitya caves of Karla and Bhaja. These are monolithic caves carved by Buddhist monks.

Malshej Ghat - hottest destination during rains for brethlessly beautiful waterfalls!!

There are many more such places within a 100 km radius of Pune but that would be quite a big post, so posting only the major ones!!

Tourist place in and around Agra are Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Dayalbagh temple, Etmadudola, Sikandra tomb, Fathepur Sikri, Chini Ka Roza. Besides Mathura and Vrindavan are also at a short distance. There are many temples there including Krishna Janma Bhoomi and Dwarkadheesh.
