Muralitharan retires from international cricket

Sri Lanka and the world cricket is going to miss a true bowling legend.

Going by his recent form he is no longer the dreaded bowler that the cricket world knew him to be.In the light of this I think he has taken the right decision.

I personally feel he shouldn't have retire.He should have played for 2 more years.

Wish Murali all the best. Taking close to 800 test wickets is no small achievement. I particularly like Murali (and other Sri Lankans) for standing up to the Aussies (who in my opinion are sore losers).

His achievements are truly phenomenal.He competed with the very best and came out with flying colors.

"I think only Harbhajan can do this. I don't know how old is he and how long he will continue. But he is the only one who can achieve this feat in Test Cricket," Muralitharan said from Colombo.

Yes he really will be missed by everyone.In my view he took the right decision to retire.It will take 5 years to break this record by other player...

Sajeetharan like ceeem sir said for past few years he is as good as he was earlier.One more thing he was having problem with their captain sanga.

To break this highest wicket taker in test and ODI matches by any player will get more than 5 years to break it.
