I think the answer to the question is

"Bookkeeper" :) :)

Next question is which English letters have no endpoints?? :)
I think B,D,O are not having endpoints. Am i right kalyani. :)
You are right Rajani, that is the answer! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I also.
Sajee, write all the alphabets on a paper in Capital cases, you will understand.

A B C D E F G etc.

you will see that A has two endpoints at the bottom, where as B has none. The letters with endpoints also necessitate you to raise your hand from the paper, eg, to draw the horizontal line in the middle of A, you have to raise the pen from paper, to write B you don't have to.

Is my explanation clear enough??
You should have given this clue before posting this question..was searching for the meaning of endpoints in google. all results were related with technical.
Kalyani,
I understood it now.But Sridevi's doubt irritates me now!
Sridevi, P has one endpoint at the bottom.

Sajee: I did not give the clue because I did not want to make it any easier. Did you try to write the letters yourself at least once? If you had then you would have got it?

Actually, I too sweated and fretted to find the answer when I was asked this, so I wanted you all guys to do the same, not making it any easy for you all either!!
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Nice explanation Kalyani. hope now every one understood the answer and question. :)

This is not true in case of all letters as Sridevi pointed.
Abid, I agree with you. Not all letters require raising the pen from paper, but it was easy to explain that way. :) :) :)

Here's a little teaser:
What is a common feature between these three sets of words?

1. Thermometer
2. A college or a university.
3. Location of a place

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Kalyani!

Does it related with english? I mean general one or english puzzle?
kalyani your question is very tough, what is the answer?

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Of course, it is related to English language!! :) :) :)

Think Sajee, think! If you get it, good. Otherwise I will give you a clue tommorrow! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
yes kalyani give us clue, so that we can try again..

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Okay, a clue to the correct answer!

The word is a homonym - Has the same spelling, same pronunciation but defiierent meanings in each case!

I think this will simplify the question! :)
Kalyani i think it is Chambers if i am not wrong. :P

please say me something whether i am correct or wrong.

Will be waiting for your reply. :)
Kalyani i think it is Degree according to your hint..

In Thermometer degree is measuring unit
In College degree is meaning for course
In Location degree is again used to indicate latitude and logitute directions..

Am i right :)
