Popup ads in boddunan ?

In general pop up ads gives bad impression about any site. Does pop up ads in boddunan feels good to users. I want the opinions of members of this site. Please give your opinion.

Hi Rakesh,

The ads which boddunan use are not popup ads but are pop-under ads. They will load behind your current window without disturbing your navigation. Of course browsing experience depends on what browser you are using.

But the ads come between reading whether it is pop up or pop under or any other pop.It really feels bad impression.

We will avoid using them, however will effect the boddunan earnings as they are the max revenue generator at present.

When any user connects from dial up connection, their bandwidth is low. Then rather than actual web page, the ad takes much bandwidth. Then for them get irritation. So i asked the question

I don't have any problem with such ads as they load in background.
These are means of generating revenue. & I think most of the paying websites have it. Users must understand that its their business & this is from what they make money.

yes the pop up shown in boddunan is the people who are interested in downloading movie or buying clother or other thing so its good there is no negative thinking.

But my experience is that it suddenly jumps forward and the tab "skip this" appears after some time.So I have to wait till that time.If closed the whole work get lost.Being the revenue earning method members may have to co-operate.But the irritation facing can't be hided.

I too not have any problem because the ad loads but it goes away after getting load.So it is not the problem.

It actually depends on the content of the ad certain ads have adult content and some keep on disturbing you when your surfing the net

it may be opposing here, but there is a way you can adblock add-ons to block pop-ups

For avoiding it, we should keep on blocking ads. There is no other solution. This is a problem for few people only.

The popup ads are disturbing. The work of a user of the site is hamperered by such disturbane. If feasible, these should be replaced by normal ads.

i too face the same problem pop up ads can be used for adult content and it makes the system slower.

Oh...I was wondered today why ads don't jump as on all days.So the disturbance came to an end.Thanks.

Yesterday onwards that ads again began to jump forward.What happened now to repeat the problem ?

Which ads you are referring? Popunders or full page ads? We have disabled all popunder ads and there is no chance to come again.

Between reading a topic comes a full page advt with a tab at top "skip this".I don't know whether it is pop up or pop under or any other.

It is a full page ad. It will come once/twice per visit. It is less frequent ad.
