the answer for the puzzle is

2+5+3=132
3+6+4=380
4+2+7=63
6+3+6=228
8+5+2=?
rule is
a+b+c = p*q where p=(a*b)+1 and q=(b*c)-c
following the above we have
for 8+5+2, p=(8*5)+1=41 and q=(5*2)-2=8 ; p*q=41*8=328

8+5+2=328
That was really typical to solve, I could never get it. Please try to post some easy ones, so that it could be answerable.
The answer to your this puzzle:
if 1=5
2=10
3=15
4=20
5=???????

Answer: If 1=5 then 5=1...

Am I right Sajeetharan?? Do tell me...
Yes astha you are right!

@ rajani

it is a sequence and logic. so even 0 can be equal to 5
INFOSYS QUESTION
2 + 3 = 8
3 + 7 = 27
4 + 5 = 32
5 + 8 = 60
6 + 7 = 72
7 + 8 = ??
Let me try it..

2*1 + 3*2 = 8
3*2 + 7*3 = 27
4*3 + 5*4 = 32
5*4 + 8*5 = 60
6*5 + 7*6 = 72
7*6 + 8*7 = 98

Is the answer correct???
yes aastha, great.

you have come up with a right answer.
Thanks Sajeetharan..

After all it was the INFOSYS question...Since I am Infy placed...

So I had to come up with the answer so I did...
Next number in the sequence

15, 161, 1771, 19481, 214291 is

Options:

1) 1942651
2) 135611101
3) 2424561
4) 1357101
5) 345372101
6) 1357201
7) 23651121
8) 1764924
9) 125461
10) 234255
15
161 : 1 (1+5) 1
1771 : 1 (1+6) (6+1) 1
19481 : 1 (1+7+1) (7+7) (7+1) 1
214291 : 1+1 (1+9+1) (9+4+1) (4+8) (8+1) 1
The first term is "2" because of the carry over from (1+9+1)
1357201 : 1 (2+1) (1+4) (4+2+1) (2+9+1) (9+1)1

So the correct option is option 6...
wow aastha you are amazing.

i just understand how you got into infy!
Thank you Sajeetharan..

Now please post some easy puzzles, so that others could also participate and solve that.

If it is so, do tell me, whether I should post its answer or wait for others to reply...
