Hai Friends,

Being a new editor, I have come across many articles.

Here are my personal thoughts.. That I want to share.
- Some are copied.
- Some have very good content, but the presentation is lacking.


So Friends,
I just want to give a small suggestion, hope this would be useful to you.

1. Please present the article in a format having Intro section, body and finally the conclusion section. This makes the article effective
2. Always use the same font size to the whole article, excluding headings, if necessary.
3. Do not use large fonts for the article. It doesn't give good impression.
4. Use appropriate images to make the article more impressive and opt. This can be optional too.
5. Please crosscheck for grammatical mistakes before submitting.

It is useful suggestion Deepti..Thanks for sharing...I also want to know do we have to follow the format like intro para, body para, conclusion para or also have to put the heading before headlines of the para?? And in some cases like receipes what is your expectation... About the font will 12 will be OK as it is showing very small when published...

I would like to add some more points following yours.

1. It is better to split the article into paragraphs appropriately instead of writing everything in single paragraph.
2. After submitting your article,open it and see yourself how it looks.If you find too much spacing or any other mistakes, you can correct it and resubmit it.
3. Read your article once before submitting it.You can find out mistakes and correct it.

When the article is formatted, it would split into paragraphs by default.

Thanks Deepti & others who have shared their noteworthy points for the article submission & formatting. I have one doubt can you pls tell me whether it is mandatory to write the metedata part for every article? i had given only tags fo my articles in that section but not anything for description part. will this have any affect on my earnings? Kindly help in this regard too.

Rashmi,

I think the meta data and keywords(tags) are helpful in retrieving your article.. If you have already submitted some articles without metadata, leave them. And from now, while submitting any articles, make a point to specify every aspect of your article.
