Excellent Joke Abid. I was wondering how the answer came 2 correctly :laugh:

I am not an Engineer, but am working in Engineering College.So this fun felt me very well.

I remember- once a firm held an interview for post of accountant. The candidates were asked whether one plus one means two or eleven. There were several replies. The candidate selected was one sho said- "sir- what answer you want?."

Such type of answers can only be expected from an engineer.

Me, myself being an engineer do the same in exams..

We only have to see that what answer is needed for a question and give answer accordingly...

Question is seen later, what is to prove is seen first..

One day, a Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer,Chemical Engineer and Computer Engineer were driving down the street in the same car.

The car broke down.

The Mechanical Engineer said, "I think a rod broke. We can check the rods."

The Chemical Engineer said, "The way it sputtered at the end, I don't think it's getting gas. We shall check the gas tank."

The Electrical Engineer said, "I think there was a spark and something is wrong with the electrical system. We shall check the circuitry."

All three turned to the computer engineer and said, "What do you think?"

Sorry I saw this thread today itself.
But after reading this joke, I felt its not joke but a reality. I am a Mechanical Engineer , I still remember my college viva's we used to give illogical answers to examiner's question and he used to ask the second person to prove the first person answer. As decided by us to support each other and answer every question during vivas. The second person have to explain in this manner only. Many a times the examiner used to get confused and starts thinking these kids may be correct and sometimes we get insulted.
But its TRUE that engineers can answer any question without prior knowledge of the subject.

This is common in every engineering college. This is common in every viva. We just try to confuse lecturers :)

Thats why we are differ from other..

Really Engineer can ans anything..then may be it politics or art or commerce

Thanks for sharing the joke, Engineer's always rock..

It has been fantastic method to solve such a sums.
It shows that we got to think beyond the boundaries.
