Great Guy. I have seldom seen your posts. Negative karma is very astonishing. If you are not active enough, your karma will be less but why minus. i am bringing it to 0 karma.

Santosh- A very active member will not have 0 karma or -/+ 1 karma. So, you may get even more negative karma. You are so senior that such things do not matter. The new members need encouragement.

No it doesn't! The same member can raise the karma of another by exercising it 20 times.

YES -- and not only that.. Their may also be negative rating...

If we take an example of "Cool Guy", his Karma is "2", which doesn't mean that he was rated by only 2 members.
After starting this thread, he was rated by "4" members overall.. :)

I think keeping the sensitivities of the members on the use of Karma as it amply demonstrated by some posts reflecting some kind of frustration,I would request the members to be extremely careful in using 'smite'.Ideally I would like 'smite' to go away.

Don't take it as Rating Karthik. If they satisfied with the answer, then they increased the karma. It does not about rating the person. You can consider as rating the answers.
