its good display and more user friendly thanks for improvement it will help to old and new both users.

It is good, but the pages are loading slower than previous one.

Look and Feel comes with the trade off of something :) .

However, the page will load slower for the first time only. If you access the page again, it will take less than 25% time. Thanks to caching and compression technologies.

saying about new look of boddunan...

boddunan was constantly updating from the beginning of the site itself by considering user feedbascks and suggestions..

new look of the boddunan is wonderful..
it gave more cool and professional look to boddunan..
the dark "space theme'looks good...

everything will have some drawbacks.. nothing is perfect..

let me notify the minus points so that it can be solved...

* some sections are having highly bright colours like light blue... this is not suggested while using for a white background..

* page load speed decreases , but you have answered it ...

* the sphere icon shown near to headings like that in the left menu bar will be more attractive if the size is reduced. I know that these globe like structure was adopted as a matching for the new "space" theme of boddunan...

* boddunan logo should be urgently changed.. select one from the contest which is also suitable for the background..

* font size of certain categories has increased which is not so essential.. very large letters will not look so beautiful...

these are only my personal views..
i'm not negatively saying about the change of boddunan..
justconsider as suggestions..

The last time I was here it was blue! Don't mind, but I feel this new look is awful. The previous look was much much better. Especially, I miss the 'hot' and 'new' sections which we had previously. Most of the popular article directories have similar sections prominently placed on their home page. I strongly feel that the previous look should be restored as it was much more elegant and professional. Also the 'login' area should be on the top. What say guys..??

The new look is fine, especially the picture of the galaxy. My only suggestion is to put some other colour on the bar where the "Browse Content" and other tabs appear, as black is not appealing to all.

Sorry for missing them. In fact the new look is not yet completed. In order not to give too much break, we have omitted some feature of previous them. All of them will be added in a day or two.

We need all of your suggestions on the colors and other parts so that we can alter the CSS to match better look and feel.

Its really awesome now.....i like it...

Just wondering if the color could be 'blue' instead of black..?? The same old blue..

This site has become quite a 'brand' in a very short span and you see, for a brand to sustain, stability is a must. I just checked with Alexa to find that boddunan ranks 126,098 overall and 12,795 in India which is decent enough for a new site. But too much experimentation and frequent changes with respect to the looks can degrade the brand. People have formed certain perceptions about this site like its honest, it pays well, the support is good and so on however, when someone thinks of boddunan, the first thing that comes to mind is the 'blue' color to which we are so much habituated. In marketing terms, it is called 'brand association' which leads to 'brand recall'. When a user of this site gets to see that particular shade of blue, it reminds him of this site in the first place, this is brand recall. When we see something associated with a brand, we tend to recall that brand. What plays the most important role in brand recall is the 'packaging' or the 'look' of the product. When the brand recall goes down the 'brand image' gets affected thereby affecting the overall 'brand identity' and 'brand value'. I need not say what happens when the brand value goes down, do I??

Big brands always stick to their looks and packaging. Colgate has been there for over fifty years but still it uses the same 'red' color pack while the very product for which we pay is 'white'. Lets consider a more relevant example, of say Yahoo and Google. Ever since these sites came into existance, their logo and the colors associated with them have remained the same. Google keeps playing with its logo every once in a while to seek attention and gain popularity however, it has never undergone a major makeover for it would have affected the very identity of the brand. Big brands like these play it 'extra safe' when it comes to changing the looks.

I don't have anything against any change but the point I want to make here is changes should be made gradually. A couple of months ago, when I joined this site, the look was more 'white' and less 'blue'. Then it became more 'blue' and less 'white' which indeed was a pleasant surprise. However, this time the 'black' look, came more as a shock rather than a surprise. Sudden changes like these should be avoided especially when there is no need. In case there is a need for change change, it should be brought in a step by step manner so that it can gain acceptance among peope. 'Big' changes should always come in 'small' packages!

Anyways, this is just a piece of opinion and I'm sorry if anyone doesn't like it. After all its the sweet wish of the bosses that prevails.

I do not agree with this post of Sidharth. I think boddunan is its initial phase and the administrator and moderators are trying to give it best look and appearance to appeal visitors. The brand image increases of every site on the net if it goes through constant up-dation. After a few months, when boddunan will be amongst the premier adsense publishers, it will have reached many million views by that time, then there will be not need of such a speedy up-dation of the site's look, though adding new widgets and icos and software will be beneficial.

I LIKE THE WAY BODDUNAN IS IMPROVING AND I AM HAPPY TO SEE THE NEW AVATAR OF BODDUNAN.

KUDOS TO THE MODERATORS AND ADMINISTRATOR AND ALL OF US WHO HAVE INCREASED THE IMPORTANCE OF BODDUNAN.

Thank you Rajinder and all the members for your co-operation. Boddunan should be stabilized before it gets huge page views and hence we are updating at regular intervals and in future also we will continue to provide the best we can give.

We have removed all background images and modified the colors to light colors so that it looks good as well as loads faster. Hope you like it.

Current GUI is very user friendly and very attractive.

Saying about the new look ..

on removing the background image and giving it a very light colour , it decreased the look of site .. though speed increased...

but the most -ve thing that i feel in the new look is the red colour .. it feels very bad.. its unpleasant to the eyes..

pls replace the red colour...

Yes, red colour can be replaced with the original blue or a shade of orange, perhaps..
