Famous Lyricist "VETURI" Dead!

A very sad news!Although I am not familiar with his work,I pay my respects to him.May his soul rest in peace!

He is famous lyricist,... and has served a lot to the Telugu film industry with his works....

His works always played a vital role for boosting the songs to become famous.... He has written songs to almost all the famous actors in Telugu, like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh.......

Correction to your post. His age is 74. His date of birth is January 29th 1936.

It is a very sad news. He is the best lyricist for the Tollywood industry. He written more than 10,000 Songs. He only write for Mani Ratnam films. From this, we can know how famous he is!!!!

Yes poets are intellectual assets of the country. They should be given highest regards for their work. And their death is a loss to the country. May his soul rest in peace.
