Gay Couple Imprisoned in Malawi!

Yes I think Indian Culture does not permit this type of relationship so its crime.

Same sex relationship is an offence under law in many countries including India. The latest court judgments indicate that private relations between consenting individuals are not punishable.
My personal view is that same sex relation is against order of nature and should be discouraged. The extra marital and premarital relations should also not be encouraged even though not punishable.

Gay relationship is frowned upon by many societies as it is not considered to be desirable.But sending them to prison is not the way to tackle this issue.

Chinmoy- This depends on social set up. In India also, such persons will be sent to jail. The only exception is consensual relations between adults in private. so no body may openly and shamelessly talk of same sex relation.

I am totally agree with Gulshan..
This is against nature.. it must be discouraged .. It will distort the social setup..

Thanks Shalu and I think the society needs to be more sensitive and humane in dealing with this.

Chinmoy- The society is humane. The courts have decided that any consensual relation in private is not punishable. But it will be too mcuch to expect that such relations are publicly allowed. If some body has weak vision, we may help him but we cannot praise his eye sight.

Improving whatever vision one is left with is in line with the humane practices but destroying it is not!

Gulshan, I happened to read an article in one of marathi's leading magazines, it detailed an interesting insight into the world of Mumbai's several thousands eunuchs and gays! what was the most shocking and revealing fact was that many rich businessmen get themselves married to these people in secret lavish ceremonies and live a double life with them!! AND the authorities are aware of these goings-on.

That's quite interesting! Some of our businessmen love to practise double-dealing in everything they do!!

I think it is more shocking then interesting! Businessmen are doing that business also..

In their marital life too,they seem to mean business!!
