Earlier we depended on books and other writing materials. Now we depend more on computers. Depending on computer for useful purposes is good. But we should not sit continuously before computer for very long for sake of health.
I think computer provide facility to earn money even if we do not have job. So its one type of machine for money earning.
Anything that is useful enables us to earn money. We may earn money by any useful skill such as sports, writing, computer operation, dancing, accountancy etc.
computer has many applications. We may combine our basic skill with computer application and earn more. I am a tax consultant. I use software for searching legal decisions of courts. This helps to do the legal work faster. similarly, doctors use computer for diagnosis and various researches.
Its also useful to earn on-line . I think we are here due to internet and computer.
Santosh- True we are here due to internet. There are also online academic courses and other commercial services like advertising, buying and selling. One may use computer and internet according to skill.
I think if we work on computer permanent then some problem may occur for our health like eye problem, fever , laziness etc.
I agree Santosh. We need relaxation after working on computer for some time. I think we should take a break of fifteen months after every two hours.
I think we need to take full rest in 1 day in a week its good idea for refreshment.
It is a good question.I think the kind of the role that IT has been playing we can not help spending hours before a system.Some exercises and correct postures of the body and the position of the computer may help us in dealing with these issues.
WE can do some simple exercises after every 1 hour while working on computer. For example we can get up from our seat and stretch our body and roll our eyes in all the direction and then try to see distant object and finally close eyes for some moment.

Working on computers for a long time at a stretch is certainly harmful.
If you do yoga properly and daily then we can fight with harm but if you do not refresh yourself then its dangerous.
