Timeout Period fro Increasing Karma!

Good morning Maverick!

Earlier now I increased Kumaresh's karma and now a minute back I tried to increase chinmoy's but got the following message:

You can modify only one person's karma every 6 hours.
Please wait until this timeout period has passed before modifying any person's karma again.

Is there any specific reason for this? I think that the timeout period be reduced as six hours is a lot longer time!

If this implemented to ensure that people do not keep on increasing each other's karma points, I think you need not worry, as in the recent few days I have hardly seen anyone increasing others' karma points!

Guys, what is your take on this?

I think six hours period for giving Karma to one person is okay. If you are allowed to increase or decrease karma too soon, this will lose all charm.

Yes time should be decreased. Maverick should look into this.

I agree with you Gulshan. It is problem when karma is decreased for that particular person. So 6 hours time limit for that person is fine. But time should not be 6 hours for every person

Yes there is TIMEOUT to change the Karma... I think this should be there... Otherwise, the Karma fluctuates more... It looses its significance... :)

Two persons have increased my Karma.. It should be 8 but it is 6.

it is good to have that time period for karma points. It will actually increase the value of the Karma points

Kumaresh- Rwo persons could have increased your karma but another two could decrease upsetting your calculation. Now your karma is 9. I do not like this figure. I shall like to see this in double digit.
