Deepti,

These are the things that came to my kind

1.You can give him any item which he always likes or he was planning to buy.
2.You can take him to his favourite spot in your place without telling him.
3.You can arrange a candle light dinner in his favourite restaurant.

If something more comes to my mind,i will tell u :)

That's great Deepti...Heartiest congratulations to you! on what date is your anniversary?

If he loves music, you could gift him an entire compilation of his favorite singer or composer!

As per tradition, (western, not ours) 5th Anniversary gift should be made of wood, so if he loves art you could give him a nicely carved wooden statue such as Ganesha or something similar!

If he is a good reader of books, gift him a good book of his favourite author. Definitely everybody will have likings for some things. Catch that and give a gift related to that.

Or else, prepare a list of all his favourite foods and make many of them on that day. :)

BTW when is your wedding day?
