I am not able to open orkut in my system. Till today afternoon i able to open it. From afternoon it is not getting open. If i try to open, then connection timed out message is appearing. I restored my system to 2 days back and i tried different browser too. But also problem didn't solved. I think spyware entered into my PC.

Do you know any process responsible for blocking orkut?? What can i do now ?? :( :( :dry: :dry: :angry: :angry:

You install nortran Corporate edition antivirus and update virus definition then scan whole system. then try to install google crome then try orkut.

It may be due to the cookies and temporary internet files. Just try by deleting all the temporary internet files and cookies....

It depends also on which antivirus is installed. if web protection is set on in antivirus software than disable it for time being then try to open.

Dont forget to enable the web protection in antivirus once this trick is successful.

cookies are creating the havoc. Delete cookies and try reopening it.

Thank you guys for you help. I deleted the cookies and tried to reopen it. Now it is working. I don't know up to know that problem occurs due to cookies also!!!

it always happens by cookies only. Some times you may have to delete it completely by going to the documents and settings folder. If the server is down we may get a 404. Then nothing can be done except waiting to get it on.
