I suggest the practice of saying 'Good Morning' when we log in in the morning and 'Good Night' when we leave. What do you think?

Good Morning to all of you! Have a nice Sunday!

Thats a very good move Chinmoy ;)

Let me take an opportunity to Greet all!!

Good Morning Friends....
Have a wonderful Sunday :)
Good morning Chinmoy!!!!

few months back this practice is in some thread which started by sajeetaran. May be now that thread is inactive, members are not wishing. Anyways have a wonderful sunday!!!
I did not know existence of such a thread.Anyway young Sajeetaran was a very enthusiatic and active member and he is not seen for quite some time.Similarly Anu,Anabul,Parthiban are absent for quite some time.MC too is not seen this month.May be they are all busy.Hope they come back.
Good Morning to all of you here. It is a good practice. But if we do that in same thread, it will be good. Otherwise so many threads will start and fill the discussions page.
Yes friends. Do this every day in this same thread. If more threads started, then it looks difficult to handle
I think we need not use just one thread for this purpose. We can use the same thread when we are replying to any topic first time in the day.

Yes --- This is good one way!!! But hope this will turn into a spam thread soon just to earn points... :(

I'm agree with you on this...

many threads like writing mantras turn into a spam....
:) Yes..... I have found another Good Morning forum after this thread....

See slowly it would turn into a spam postings!!!!!

;) ;) ;)
A very good morning friends!!

This would be a good practice of greeting each other. BUt I agree with Deepti that this could just be misused to simply gain points. Hence I suggest that a separate thread for simply wishing be banned and the like Chinmoy suggested, simply greet each other on the forum that we first answer for the day!
@Deepti,Kalyani,

This is another instance where a well-meaning suggestion can be turned into a questionable exercise. We can always greet one another in our first reply to a topic in the day.As I hope to tomorrow when I make my first reply.
If there is Good morning and Good Night then why not included Good afternoon.

This is time of Good Afternoon friends.
Yes Chinmoy... I hope we can make it a habit to wish everyone in our first post.... This may not require a thread!!!!

:)
Those who come in the afternoon or in the evening for the first time can use 'Good Afternoon' and 'Good Evening' also.
Thats right!!! I have logged in now!!!

Good Evening everyone!!!

:)
I think we should have a chat box to say hello instead of writing it in a forum. The wishes should be instant. I think the moderator will look into the matter. The wishing is a customary practice for indians whether it is east or west.
Good Morning all friends . Have a nice day today. My best wishes with you all.
Good morning Chinmoy. Good morning all.
I shall begin my day with 'good morning' in first post. However, i shall not write any post only with salutation.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Hai Friends,

A very Good Morning All!!!!!

Hope the day seems to be more brighter :)
