The word Siphon changed its meaning in Oxford Dictionary after 100 years!!!It was given as 'an instrument working by atmospheric pressure'.But Stephen Hugus of Queens Land Technical University Australia suggested that the meaning is 'an instrument working by gravity' and was accepted.
There are two forms of the word "stadium"- stadia as well as stadiums.Either of them can be used.
Yes.... There are two plural forms for word "Stadium"

It can be "Stadia" or "Stadiums" by adding "S"
I got this answer

For classical stadium, i.e. a semi-circular running track then the plural is stadia. If referring to a modern-day multi-event stadium, then the plural is stadiums.
Both these forms can be used irrespective of the niceties of the meaning.
THanks for the information.Have any one noticed another thread in this discussion? How it came here?
