Another case of Honor killing

Well there is nothing to say anything cause the thinking of all persons are not same.

It is very shocking for me to hear this. How the parents can kill their child mercilessly?It is a pity that even the girl's mother did not come to her rescue.Whatever mistake the girl had done, there is a way to solve the problem and definitely murder is not the solution.

Honor killing flows from distorted notion of 'gender discrimination' and caste. A woman is considered as 'property' that will be spoiled if 'used' by some one belonging to other caste, pre marital or extra marital relations.
We need to correct our view on gender justice and equality as well as caste discrimination. Rule of law is also involved. Any killing- 'honor' or otherwise is very dishonorable.

The root for so-called HONOR kiliings lies in caste discrimination. Unless there is something done about it, such killings will go on.. and the sa part is that in such orthodox and conservative communities, the leaders of these communities usually support the parents who kill their own daughters!! Its very very shocking and disgusting!!

Mohamad- i am very perturbed to see you are supporting milling by parents. Parents have recklessly broken law of the land. Their daughter might have angered them but she committed no crime. Inter caste marriage or love is not crime. Moreover, this is also an issue of gender discrimination. Would the parents have killed their son for inter caste marriage.

That was really very pathetic... Killing own child is very bad.

Shubham- i agree that there is always difference in opinion. But gross inhuman crime like killing some one cannot be brushed aside under garb of difference in opinion. The killer must be given exemplary punishment.
