Summer is definitely letting us down with soaring temperatures all parts of india.

What r some of the ways to beat the heatÉ

In my view, Butter milk(lassi) and coconut water are effective..Fresh lime juice comes next.

Are there any other tips, Share your views...

I think we will more use cooler, fridge, AC etc to save us from Heat but by using all these think Heat will increase more in next year. So if we use only fan its best.

Yes storing water in earthern pots really helps, it tastes and smells nice as well.

Also, coconut water has potassiumm, so is very nutritious and is recommended to all people.
Mango shake and mixed fruit punch are good summer drink. We should yake bath more often. We must also avoid moving out in mid day. We should not bother too much about heat even though preacutions against scorching mid day sun are necessary. A strong person with good stamina can face extreme heat and cold more than a weakling.
Yes.. mango shakes are good..
But, Mango shakes again might cause you to be thirsty, So, a bit of ice in it, would be the solution.
Among the fruits, I think watermelon(not cut pieces!!)and grapes help a lot.
I think watermelon is best in Summer I like to eat it. This time its cheap also. 10 Rs per kg.
Best one is Coconut water.....

Now I have found that cane juice centers, naming "Cane Express" are present with good hygienic conditions..... It is very good to replace with the salts and dehydration.....
Cane juice is best. It is available in western U.P. Coconut water is available more in coastal area. We have to take the drink available in our area. We should avoid Pepsi Cola and coca cola drinks. all natural drinks like mango shake, cane juice are good. But there is no substitute of pure cool water.
To avoid our body getting heated, we can soak fenugreek seeds overnight in butter milk and drink it in the morning.It will cool our body to a great extent.
Similarly, Tulsi seeds soaked in water for some time and drinking that water is extremely cooling!!
