I think today duplicate and original notes are mixed and we running both type notes.
If the notes are printed abroad under government arrangement, we must feel assured that all precautions have been taken. This is not a matter of concern. The printing of fake currency notes either in India or abroad would be a matter of concern.

But it should be checked because in midst of scams and scandals our authorities have not enough time to check all these.
Abid- In spite of corruption and irregularities in government organization, we have no option other than to trust unless contrary is proved.
But currency is the backborn of a nation's economy.That is why all who wish to destroy a country first aim to print their fake currencies.
I was taught that currency is printed in Security press in India only.Now it has to be modified!!
With a view to check fake currency, we may soon have plastic currency notes.

plastic currency is a welcome idea but today we are trying to eliminate plastic use from our country by finding alternatives
I too cannot understand why the job of printing currency notes is outsourced to another country?

unlike other plastic articles, the currency notes will be used permanently and not thrown after use. Hence not risky to environment.
@gulshan

Do you think it is wise to change from paper to plastic ?
Is it easy to use the plastic ones?
will it be available for all the denominations we have now ?
I have a doubt whether recycled plastic can be used to make plastic currency notes?

The authorities would have seen the actual experience in foreign countries before deciding in the natter. We shall have practical experience about handling of these notes only after these are circulated.
