Can we have memebers categorized with age group.

No.. it will not be a good change.Categorizing based on age cannot be justified here.
How can we say that aged people can write good articles and they should be given more credit?

how can you say that young people are not creative ..?
how will it help time consumption?

i think this is not a good suggestion.

Even i feel its not a good idea...

a kind of discrimination will takes place.. Think about it one more time..

It is obvious out of your language that you are not sure about your question.

The reason behind that is that the internet users are invisible, strangers and virtual entities. They cannot be divided into groups depending on any thing like age, gender, profession or anything else.
