Maharashtra and Haryana election results..

BJP+ Shivsena has no doubt managed to get the required numbers in Maharashtra  but it has also shown the public mood with BJP losing badly in all those places where Fadnavis completely neglected the farmers and the flood affected population , concentrating more on winning the elections for himself and securing his position. They have lost almost all seats in Kohlapur. This also gives enough opportunity for the Shivsena, which anyway is an unreliable Ally, to armtwist the BJP. Congress and NCP has done surprisingly well...

Coming to Haryana , although BJP has the highest number of seats but no simple majority,  it cannot form the government without outside help and again Congress has done very well here too.

Looking forward , I sincerely hope that the top leaders of BJP stop Congress bashing ,being arrogant about power and concentrate on performance. Article 370, Ayodya temple is not an issue for the entire nation but local issues are. The coming Karnataka elections for 14 seats of disqualified MLAs will not be easy for BJP because of the negligence shown by the center in providing funds for flood victims and the manner in which Yediurapa has been handling the state issues.

It's getting frustrating and the situation is really a frustrating one for voters. Till now the tussle goes on and no government has been formed in Maharashtra. A reelection will be an added cost and not sure if a clear verdict will come out of it. But for sure Shiv Sena is running high on their illogical demand. They might have to suffer in coming times. If reelection happens, BJP and SS should fight separately and not as allies. And their bifurcation will definitely help other parties.

If Maharastra have re-election than it assured that SS will be biggest looser. It is loosing half in greed of full.

They have lost their ground. Other parties have not shown much interest in aligning with them. Now governor has called NCP to form a government. They have time till tomorrow evening. A lot more political drama is going to unfold in coming days. Definitely people of Maharashtra and their mandate has been overlooked by these people for their political ambitions. A big slap on democracy.

I also would like to point out that BJP has failed in some ways or else their seats and vote share wouldn't have dropped and NCP wouldn't have benefitted and now in a position to call the shots .

No doubt that share of Vote of BJP dropped, some decline in votes is natural because it is not possible to satisfied all voters. Now congress is in roll of king maker and he will charge its cost.

It almost looks as if it is going to be a three party government in Maharashtra with Shivsena getting it's wish ...how long this wd last is anybody's guess. Shivsena the s bragging that they will be in power for the next 25 years which must be sending chills down quite a few people since Shivsena is known for its communal tendencies ,targeting everyone who is not a maratha like they had done before under it's mentor Bala thackeray .

SS is claiming that they will rule for 25 years but in fact this government can't rule more than 25 months. Before saying it they much be check record of congress.

Now morning comes with an unexpected twist in the tale. It's BJP government with support of NCP. It's a big political scoop seen in latest times. Now Shiv Sena is shown the door. Their political ambition has made them stoop so low and make themselves a laughing stock. Politics is really a dirty game in our country.

Oh , is that so? That is unexpected.... Shivsena wants power and has shown how corrupt they are by the way Mumbai has been left to deteriorate under them because from what I understand they are ruling the city corporation.

This alliance surprising me! But every thing is possible in politics. Shard Pawar is a smart politician,

It is not clear that who will form government in Maharashtra. Today Supreme court reserve decision till the tomorrow morning.

BJP got the majority number of seats and with Shivsena they could have easily formed the govt. But greed for power stopped that and now no matter who forms the govt , it would not be a stable and healthy govt

This drama is going on and on and is definitely the best thriller we have seen in political life of our country. Also quite shameful how the mandate of people gets no preference in number game. Let's see what happens. It seems the floor test has to be done today before 5 PM.

This drama is not new in Indian politics. Remeber when UP when Ambika Paul was crowned. At that time many MLA gets injured and governor play openly is favor of congress. I don't what is the decision of Supreme court.

I somehow expected this to happen knowing how unreliable and corrupt Ajit Pawar is. He has made a U turn and left BJP high and dry. This misadventure by BJP will definitely have other repercussions in the future

Looking down fall of BJP begins. Most of politicians of corrupt. It is time for BJP to think and improve performance. Here in Rajasthan in local body election congress leads.

BJP seems to have totally miscalculated the Maharashtra situation. On the one hand they make an alliance with a party like Shivsena and then forgotten all about ethics and in their hurry to grab power and teach Shivsena a lesson, had their misadventure with a scamster like Ajit Pawar ...I mean , how are they different from parties like Congress ,NCP or Shivsena?
