Playing minority card is a safe and proved way to gain political points in this secular country. There is no minority population in India. We have more Muslims than Islamic states in our neighborhood.
Reservation, Casts, minority are issue which are lost long. these are major issues for all political parties, They will keep keep alive these issue time as much possible. For all political parties majority have not any problems in this country.
Anil, this is not just a political issue but social as well. For centuries, Hindus have been oppressed by the so-called minority community, each time we tried to stand up to them, we were rendered helpless by their extreme cruelty which we lack on whole. And then suddenly, one fine day we were liberated from the clutches of British who were unfortunately replaced by a government which went out of its way each time to do everything possible for these yesteryear oppressers. It was always the Hindu community who was tortured, oppressed and was asked to stand down each time someone showed the valour of fighting them. This has been going on for a long time and now people do not want to bow down to those people who know no peace. So unless they come forward and change their ways, there can be no peace. I am saying this because we have seen that Hindus trying to stay peaceful does not do any thing it is always those people who instigate violence,
