The people of Goa rejected BJP by giving it only 13 out of 40 seats. This after being under BJP rule for five years. Now BJP with smaller parties is again providing BJP rule to people who rejected it. Is this fair for a party which claims to believe in democracy and people's verdict. I am on the moral issue and not the technicalities of drumming up a majority.

It is not a huge difference between the two. Congress has not got a clean sweep. And it has happened earlier in India. The latest being in Bihar. BJP was the single largest party.
And moreover people of Goa did not give a clean mandate to Congress. Any party can form government in such case. Since BJP gets the support of others it can.
People wanted Parrikar as CM.
If there is no problem then let BJP not sit in judgement that it is a party with difference. That is why I said technicalities are not to be discussed because they favour anyone who can muster a majority. According to you Congress is an immoral parry. should what it did be followed?
Rambabu, please reply to the question raised in the previous post for sake of continuity. please do not act as a reporter. We all watch news and are updated. Fun is lost if you merely provide news. Now I raised an issue and you have not replied and I also am replying not the post but another issue. Time and energy is lost. You are becoming like the BJP, adamant and inflexible.
Parroting news in the forum is not needed to be done by YOU. Please understand what me, Usha, Sunil and Kalyani have been trying to impress upon you. Please contribute you views so that the interaction is a dialog. You are reducing it to a delayed news channel. Are all of us wrong and you are the only right person. Does it not instigate in you as to why everyone is advising you to contribute ideas and not news reports. Not changing and respecting the views of others makes you inflexible and adamant. Hope you will change. That is why I had suggested you take a week off to reflect. Rest is up to you. I find you and Rahul in the same boat now. Deaf to loud shouts by well meaning persons.
Rambabu can you please name these members who parrot like you ?
Coming to the discussion, a party like Congress has set in a bad precedence and many times over so much so that it has become a norm. Now what is the point in speaking about moral issues especially where they are concerned. They just need to be given tit for tat and taught a lesson. Do unto others as they do...
Eyes are fixed on How the Apex Court views this development and whether inviting ParrikR to form the new Government can be held legitimate by it, when it takes up for hearing a petition filed by the Congress.
The verdict is supposed to have been delivered by 10. 30 in the morning. I think, by this time, the verdict must have come up.
I keep my fingers crossed and anxiously awaiting for the verdict
No matter which party is in rule...It is the people who suffer. I hope once the government formed by Democratic means or by unethical means , they focus on governance. BJP or Congress...We need a strong ruling party and a strong opposition to work in Democracy. But governance should be good.. That's what we as a citizen want.
As far as unethical ways to stay in power, no party can be given a clean chit.
I go straight away to the content of the thread. That is Supreme Court's verdict on Manohar Parrikkar, whether he can form the Government or not in Goa. Finally the Supreme Court delivered the verdict that Manohar Parrikar's swearing in ceremony will go on as it was planned. Thew SC asked the Congress, that filed case to put a STAY on Manohar Parrikar's swearing in ceremony, why it has not gone to the Governor before approaching the SC
Another debacle for Congress.

The only thing that matters is committed leadership and putting the interest of the state above self interest. Not many politicians would do it. But Parrikkar is one such politician who never misused power , took a taxi when he was visiting other cities when he was the CM of Goa. So, Goa will be in safe hands and will prosper under him ..
Rambabu back to his point grabbing tactics and illogical news breaks which no one is interested in..
