In countries like India, people take antibiotics for every disease without taking prescription from any doctor. Also most doctors are giving antibiotics for common diseases, and this makes some viruses resistant to antibiotics and this will create problems after certain age. In our country the situation is becoming critical.

But with Ayurveda, you need to get a good doctor with sound knowledge. Otherwise half knowledge can be more disastrous than allopathy.

Healthy lifestyle and some exercise can avoid sickness. But in this world full of pollutants and poisons, one can not completely shield off from sickness

Agree, some ayurvedic medicines have some strict rules to be followed, what to eat, what not to eat we have to follow strictly during ayurvedic treatment. So deep knowledge of these medicines is must.

A knowledgeable and well trained is essential.Otherwise, you will be misguided .This leads to adverse effects.

In our country, due to commission game, most doctors prescribe antibiotics to the patients for common small diseases. Some doctors give same medicine for different diseases, like headache, fever or viral. So our government should be strict on the use of these antibiotics.

Yes.There are such Doctors in the Medical profession. Very recently, one such Doctor was taken in to custody

Medical Profession is a noble profession. Doctors are supposed to save the lives of the patient not to kill They are not Doctors, but Devil's Disciples. Such Doctors should be hanged unto death.

Antibiotics or even any medicine should be taken only on prescription.

unnecessary use of medicine can cause the problem of kidney stone also

Yeah, I think there should be strict action should be taken against that Doctor who supply this medicine without prescription.

Actually,Medical Shops generally ask for the Doctor's prescription, when somebody goes to buy a medicine. But, many Medical Shops do not do this. This is the reason why some people indulge in self medication.

This practice should be stopped.

Most medication in I dia can be bought over the counter including anti biotics. Personally I would rather take a course of anti biotics when I am down and out and get back to normal in a matter of days , rather than suffer through weeks taking Ayurveda or any other slow healing medication. You need to use your common sense as to which brand to take and when to take rather than make it a practice of taking anti biotics without doctors advise. There are different anti biotics meant for different illness and taking the wrong anti biotic can cause more discomfort rather than cure you ! I know of people buying anti biotics in bulk and using it for everything , right from fever/cough to urinary infection!

I think you are wrongly accusing the doctors in generally. I have never come across them giving same medicine for headaches, fever or viral. They prescribe medicine after looking at the symptoms. Some of them do promote a particular brands of medicine but only if it has the compositions suitable for treating the diseases. It would be a great risk to prescribe medicine just for some commission.

I too would think so because from what I have experienced certain doctors may be greedy but prescribing a medication esp anti biotics without sufficient reason is dangerous and may land them in trouble..Also with the kind of competition that exists between different pharma companies it is but natural that doctors get affiliated to a few of them . These companies organise seminars which the doctors can attend with their spouse , free travel and hotel stay and a chance to visit nearby places. .

Ayurveda is associated with so called Hindus than some one habitualy critising it. Every thing is excess in harmful even if we eat enough we will face many problems of digestion.

Most of doctors are greedy. Most of doctors have, medical store, pathological lab, exray center and others testing facilities in their hospital. It the reason that they suggest unnecessary test and examination and also prescribing costly medicines.

A growing number of doctors are following practices that are fleecing the patients.

I know. There is a connection between The Doctors and Medical stores. A good number of Doctors insist the patients only to buy Medicines from those Medical stores with which they have connections.

Erratic use of antibiotics has led to the dangers of Superbug. Superbug is  a bacteria which is resistant to all types of antibiotics available today to mankind. There is need for cautious use of antibiotics or else which need to research completely new set of medicines as resistant developed by bacteria would make diseases untreatable.

excessive use of Antibiotics will result in life threatening diseases  One should exercise utmost  care in using antibiotics.
