Legacy of Obama

While I agree with all the points you have made , it was also during his time that Osama was killed in a daring strike. I feel that although his tenure was not anything extra ordinary , he did make a lot of headway in Indo American ties..Now unless Trump comes up with something spectacular Obama may still be hailed as one of the best Presidents the US has had in the recent years!

Trump is unconventional and that is his strength. Obama was caught in a cleft with a Muslim father and professed Christianity and he was an Afro-American. This weighed on him and that is the reason his protege Hillary lost and so also his legacy.

Being unconventional has helped Trump win the election but world is waiting to see his visionary.

Yes, Trump will be an unconventialnal president and will upset the status quo, thats why vested interests are opposing him and painting lurid tales about him

My daughter lives in the USA . Trump has compromised with some of the sayings that all the jobs are for Americans. Indians in the USA must leave. But my daughter says, as far as Indians, doing jobs in the USA  did not have any problem with regards to their Jobs. I for one Trump's rule is safe to all those people from foreign countries, including Indians

One aspect of his regime is that there is no signs of corruption. Though, it is true Americans elects the other party for president-ship that could have been possibly due to the candidate of democrats, still there are many admirers. 

Every president before Obama was embroiled in some controversy or the other. Obama brought in a lot of dignity to the presidential office of the United States ! Now with someone like Trump who is already mired in controversy , I am sure the political scenario would see a lot of ups and downs!

The GOP members are hell bent on obliterating the legacy of Obama. He can be faulted for the rise of the ISIS which only came when he was the president. He also allowed China to get an upper hand in Asia. One looks to Trump to set the balance right.

At least M G Singh can be charitable because Obama allowed Modi to rise in  India.

Yes, Obma has abig hand in the rise of Modi on the internationl stage.

Obama's policies were not economy friendly but the poorer section of the people loved him. He also brought in the solid family image into a society where marriage and moral values were eroding.

Yes, that is his biggest contribution. In contrast to Trump he looks a simple man.

President Obama is now out and the Trump era has begun. I am afraid whatever Obama has done like Obamacare will be dismantled and the only thing of his legacy that will survive is the rise of the ISIS during his term.

Obamacare was dismantled within an hour after Trump took office   . However, Obama alone cannot be blamed for the rise of ISIS , other nations too have contributed by not standing united and fighting them

Trump pledged to end  the ISIS once and for all.
