No Need to Be Careful

It is a reminder for members which come at 10 PM on weekends (esp Sunday) click at articles and reach in top 5 on weekly leader board.

While it is perfectly alright if you post in forums and earn points at your chosen time/day it certainly will not be tolerated that you rob the honest members. So be honest to yourself and do all your reading carefully in future. The chances are you will never reach anywhere next week if you continue with your present tactics.

I don't think intention of earning is a sacrilege.

1, I feel that leader board shd be tackled first. In a month one member gets the top slot just once, then he or she automatically falls into the second category or lower depending on how many points they get in a week. I am sure many members like Babu would probably work with more sincerity. It would also encourage others to strive harder since they have a chance yo make it to the top at least once in a while whereas now it is completely blocked by overzealous posting by one member.

2, Reading articles and posting a feedback earns points.

3, I feel that a few points should be awarded to articles published, like it was done before.

If the points were awarded the CC was lesser but if the management decides to allot points I think the CC which is already too small will be even lesser.

Ok then I guess it is counter productive to award points to articles..

well if anyone misusing the advantage of reading articles and getting point for that then i think there should be no point for reading articles. because if someone really wants to read the articles then he/she will read the articles at any coast whether reading articles have point or not.

I don't mind anyone reading articles but reading them after 10 PM on Sunday night trophy.png all of 223 of them within 20 minutes is a job which needs a mention in Limca Book of World Records.

I must say, it's a supersonic speed Missile. It certainly deserves an honor in Limca Book of records.

I suggest it earlier that to earn point by reading article one mush be write some comments on it. At present it is enough to open article page to earn point and no need of reading it. To write comments one must be have to read articles. It will take some time and in this way admin can discourage present system of earning points only with opening article page.

True. Sunil, our Moderator too thinking of a way out tp prevent such tactics. May be very soon, he may come up with a solution.

It doesn't serve the purpose of site so admin will not do that but he should at least put a limit of 30 minutes in between TWO clicks.

Yours suggestion is good one but, I think 15 minutes between 2 clicks in enough.

but why are you all so keen to give points to read an article. What do these points bring/ mean. The same 10 persons get peanuts every weak. delink the points from article reading. If viewership falls bring it back.

To be very frank a site needs revenue to pay its users and if no one clicks at different features there won't be any money to pay. Personally I am not in favor of points for LIKE and Clicks but that's how the cookie crumbles.

It is my opinion that members who are active few of them visit each days article pages. I rare view articles. So it is also good option that no points credited for reading articles.

Thi point I raised earlir. But Sunil said as of now its not feasible.

If reading an articles helps one to be on the top of the leader board  then what it is wrong and if it is wrong then there should be no point for reading an articles.

Reading articles is allowed. Many members read articles to gather information either to  use for their article to be written or to avoid duplicacy in their article. But one should not build up his entire points base only ticking on articles and Likes. A member is expected to take part in other activities like Forums, Article writing and Q&A.

Hello, weren't you the one who made noise, even started s thread about members reading articles and getting points just sometime back. Please stick to one stand rather than change at the drop of a hat like some members do here , just yo suit their own needs ..

Are you suggesting that people should stop everything else and start clicking. By the way you did not read a single article but clicked at them. You clicked at 223 articles within 20-30 minutes. Could you read even titles while going at that speed?

Lol many of our members do read at that speed, even at a faster rate if necessary to reach the minimum requirements..
