Single party democracy

Vietnam is holding elections in single party system. In India, we have multi party system but there is move to chan ge to Congress Mukta Bharat- which would make us also a single party democracy.  So it appears that there are many types of democracies. Multi party, three party, two party, single party.  India was also for many decades after independence virtually single party democracy under congress.

In Vietnam, the voters will be exercising their rights. But the candidates will be only from one party and independents. Is this one party system democracy?

Of course soon after we got freedom, patriotism and nationalism would be running high among the population , also among the leaders who fought the British . But once the country is free and they came to know it is for keeps they became greedy for power and whatever else they could out of their position...

Till the period of Shastri Ji politicians were not so greedy, Situation was change when Indira Gandhi was PM.

Those days are no more now, where you can see a politician without greed. may be some exceptions are there. The root cause for this malice is Congress. Every child in India Knows about it.

After freedom most of time congress was ruling party. Many politicians change their party from congress to others.

this was the big reason of failure of congress now a day actually congress party becomes overconfident.
