No doubt interesting and useful for a person who want to be writer.

That was perfect. He did it in a humorous way but to the point.

"A certified Bad Writer with authentic documentation ". Hilarious write up.

My favorites among the tips given by him.

  1. Write with your speaking voice

You have communicated this way all your life. Write the way you talk to avoid sounding stiff and robotic.

  1. Add value with every sentence

Self-explanatory; cut the clutter. Move the story forward with every line.Ways to increase value are facts, anecdotes, humor, dialogue, etc.

  1. Consistency

When I do not feel like writing, it is a sign I need to. The fastest way I know how to enter a groove is to write in the same place, at the same time, every day.

The key to achieving a great flow is consistency.

  1. Read every day

I listen to podcasts a few times per week. A commonly asked question is, “What are you reading?”

Not once have I heard a guest draw a blank. These people always have an answer because they are always reading. However, this cannot be said for the overall population.

Mine favorite is

  1. Stand tall!

If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. A missed opportunity is gone forever. Seize your opportunities.

Absolutely !!! Life does not give you too many opportunities..

" Shorter Is Better,". I liked this tip. A test is given to evaluate your writing. I will do leisurely and inform you.

It's a helpful guide and written in a very interesting manner. As the writer mentioned that he always reads the end of the book at first and I felt quite happy that at least someone is like me. I always read the end of the book at the very beginning.

It is really an interesting article presented in a nice way. I liked his closing note :

Closing note: it’s important to express, that all of these qualities don’t matter if one factor is missing. That factor is a deep seated passion to want to be better.

To become a better writer you must want it (and a have little luck).

This is really an interesting and hilarious article. This writer has explained the ways of writing in such an easier and witty way.

The tip that grabbed my attention is 'David Theory' -- Write, Write, Write and then edit the unnecessary writings.

CONSISTENCY, is one thing with which, I totally agree. Anyone, who wants to become a good writer, must follow this tip. Good or bad, write consistently, everyday. Then edit your drafts later.

I too normally put down everything that comes to my mind on a particular subject because these thoughts simply vanish after a lwhile...However, it is not always possible. But the more we write the more material we get and you will be surprised how hidden thoughts come out of your mind, thoughts and knowledge that was tucked away in your sub conscious mind.

It is a useful and eye opening article to inspire new points to be exercised, I want to be a passionate writer and I have found some very good tips over here which are rather simple yet very effective, there are times in life where you know it well before but at some situation because of any circumstance or urgency that point becomes more relevant and important which is my case, I am finding each point more effective and pivotal in deciding the course of my hobby and how to pursue it more entertainingly, though I did not go through the complete article.

True. . Occasionally, I  Make it a point to jot down a point and expand that. Generally, maintaining a journal helps

I hope you went through the entire article ...It is written by someone who has consciously tried to make himself a better writer and the sum total of his own experience.

very interesting way to explain, i really like it.

I really like the humorous way he has made fun of his own bad writing and then went on become a better writer by constant practice and sheer determination. Great article Usha! plus1.png

I like the tips as I'm a beginner. I want to learn as much as possible in order to become a good writer. That guy has really helped out many persons and I consider myself one of those.

Thanks for the link.

The tips are easy to follow. Consistency is the criteria. For example, the article writer has suggested some ways to become a good writer. If anybody follows one those tips for some time and neglects them totally , the results may not be encouraging. Additionally, one of the good ways to become a good writer, is to develop the Reading habit . Study as many books as possible. This will help you in building your vocabulary. Anyhow one has to choose a method that suits him best,

hen we begin to write we are all inexperienced , may even find the going tough especially when you read articles written by some goo writers. But if we remain positive and begin to improve ourselves and e]develop a unique style of our own, in time it is not difficult to write decent articles.
