This has been a subject that has been debated before because Gandhis tend to think that they need give out any details about themselves being who they are !!! A case of -All are equal but some are more equal ! Now Parliament Ethics Panel has sent a notice to Rahul Gandhi to clarify certain matters regarding his citizenship..high time, in my opinion the mother too should be asked!
If they were not Indian citizens they could not have fought in repeat elections were Election Commission verifies each candidates antecedents. Poor Swami will go to absurd lengths to score one victory in a case against Gandhis. let us see what comes out. Till then celebrations can be put on hold.
If the individuals belonged to BJP of RSS, I guess the response would have been totally different as expected ..anyway, that does not change the nature of the issue ! ...

Furthermore an Indian citizen cannot have dual citizenship , which is what Madame Sonia is doing, she still has her Italian passport and Rahul has a British Passport, which is not allowed. A few eminent personalities have been given dual citizenship by the UPA government for their achievements and the list of these 200 Non Resident Indians was published then...
Sonia canont have italian passport as she then could not be issued with an Indian passport. What is the basis for Britain to give Rahul a British passport. You seem to be knowing it but election Commission and present Home Ministry seem not to be knowing it. Pl provide information with proof to them so that they can take action in the matter.

first of sll Sonia Gandhi is an Italain and I doubt if she flew in to India without a passport...So she was an Italain when she was married and gave birth to her children. And Rahul Gandhi was born of an Italian mother with an Italian passport , so also Priyanka Vedra..As far as Britain and Italy or other European countries are concerned , they have no issue about dual or multiple citizen ship, which is not the case here and definitely not for those aspiring to rule the country and take over power !

Since Gandhis have been in power for this many decades it is understandable that no effort was made to unearth her reality.Anyway, we have some people who prefer or simply want to pretend that there is no need to provide any information or even try to find the truth and some may want to know the truth ..You being a citizen can also choose to do one of the two ( of course it is understood what you would do by the very tone of your comments) either try to know the truth or else pretend..

The issue is that some British company document shows Rahul Gandhi as British citizen. Ethics Committee of parliament has issued a notice. Let us hope that the issue will be resolved shortly. It is for Rahul Gandhi to give appropriate reply which will be duly considered and an appropriate action taken. Till then we have to wait.

What you have stated is crystal clear. As a lawyer I can also add that when a man wilfully declares himself a foreign national like Rahul did when in a form he filled his citizenship as British is also to be taken as proof. There is a good case to debar Rahul from contesting all elections.

That is exactly the issue, if he can himself say he is a British citizen in UK, he cannot get away from that...However, it is also a known fact that the whites take care of their own, so facts may be twisted by the British government which would love to see a Caucasian born at the helm of affairs in India , like they once did...So, all the more important that the mother-son duo be exposed and show how far they would go in their greed for power and wealth which of course they have taken and stashed away all over the world ..

There is no doubt that Rahul Gandhi is an Indian citizen. But it is also necessary to know how and why his nationality is shown as British in documents of a British corporate body. This is what the Ethics committee of parliament is to investigate.
