Some of the senior members know me here. Boddunan played  a best role in my life. when I used to feel lonely and no work to do then it gave me a hope and inspiration and finally I could earn few cheques from it and some knowledge. I was also one of the top writers. I became a content writer, article writer, web content writer, Technical Writer through boddunan. After 2 years of working in boddunan I  started getting writing projects and earned some bugs and I got confidence on myself. All these  happen due to boddunan and its scheme of working. with this confidence I got job and has no time to spend with boddunan. but whenever i get time I at least used to visit it as it is the main made me a perfect professional. I joined boddunan in year 2010 ending. Now after 5 years I got free time to again spend with it. but it has completely changed. There is no much interesting forums, As there is no revenue sharing so people are not much interested in working here. From long am seeing only one person is winning the leader of the board. There are no scheme for article writing. as earlier boddunan used to conduct that people have to writer 10 articles on given topics and they need to nominate 5 among them. and according to the quality and vote they will get the price money and article money. some time boddunan used to keep caption writing. like this it used to conduct many contests also. but now what happen. Just plainly it is going on. I feel very bored working here.

I wish boddunan family, moderators and admin think about the point which I have mentioned here and take good decision for further  development of future of boddunan.

Thank you

True Chinmoy. The main reason is lack of variety in topics. Earlier, we had topics related to Movies, Word scrambling, Health, sports to name a few. Today most of the topics are related to politics. Of course  absence of Reward based competitions is also a major reason that contributed to Boredom and monotony.

Yes sir you are 100% right, these days mostly every topic are related on politics

Boddunan boring or its forum? I think the absence of variety in topics is pronounced these days. We have the same topic disguised under different titles discussed all over again! It is quite true that in earlier times there were quite a few reward- based competitions attracting greater participation and generating a lot of interest among members. The spirit of forum was also warm. I wish better days for our site!!

Hi Chinmoy ! what stops you from starting all the topics you have mentioned should be there ?

@MG

The first and last thing that comes my way is my ability! I a dull prose writer and a pathetically struggling poet. Both deficient in imagination and creativity!! Yet I tried in the past, just leaf through past threads. Now you people have to excuse yours truly by helping yourselves. You are quite capable and I believe

it,trust me!!

The quality of posts should also be taken into consideration. Answering every post, passing harsh remarks on persons who cannot defend themselves on the forum like saying someone is a terrorist ad should be whipped or abusing a  particular community should be discouraged and not rewarded. Some system can be worked out. Moderators should act neutral and not be  seen outdoing members in negativity.

There are forum rules that nobody should post any remark insulting to others. A moderator may sometimes take action. But if some members continue breach of forum rules and even some moderator indulges, there is no way decency can come to forum. Moreover now there is neither revenue sharing nor moderator bonus. So there is also no incentive for moderators.

Now it seems that there is free for all. so you write what you like irrespective of quality and desirability of content. In view of overall environment in the country, this is not so bizarre. If TV channels can telecast anything including lectures by fake baabaas, propagate superstitions, doctored videos and lies, what is wrong if this site also follows suit.

So, if somebody is happy with and finds the site interesting, well. Also, one may try to make this interesting by own contribution. It is possible to bring new topics. Sarala says she used to write articles and also in forums. she can still write articles and earn on that. However now there is no financial benefit in forums. This is administrative matter and we can do nothing. I suggest that if your main object is to earn, just write articles and forget the rest of the site.

I think that is a good comment. Writing articles is also a great form of self expression

The one thing that I would definitely like to be re introduced here is the article writing contest , and forum writing contest like we used to have earlier ,which I am sure will perk up the entire forum.. It would also be nice to have some incentives to new members like extra points when they sign up if they make forum post or submit an article ..

If a member has lot of time is it a crime ? It's a question of convenience. One can always suggest what are the other points to be taken in to consideration for becoming a weekly leader.

Nobody is going to criticize you. Each member of this site has equal rights and they can contribute their knowledge as possible as they can. We all always appreciate your activeness. But I feel bad when some active members receive only Rs.10. They deserve more than that.

The weekly leader is selected only because of points , no other consideration ! The said member has enough time on hand and can post almost the entire day, which most of us cannot do...I agree that there shd be a rota system so that others get a chance too , or else it is demotivating especially when you work hard on your posts !

Some changes are must in Boddunan especially to motivate other active members. Provide some opportunities to earn money is the best way to motivate them.

I am most surprised to read Boddunan is boring. I find it an interesting site, more than Hubpages, where I also write. In fact article writing on boddunan is both a challenge and a pleasure. I should know because I wrote off and on on some 40 sites including academiaresearch.com

Boddunan is one of the best sites for writing articles. Members who have lots of free time can spend their time to write quality articles. But it is not possible for ladies especially after marriage. Most of the time they are busy with family and children.

You are right, points should be on the basis of the quality of our postings. Do not use forum to degrade other members. Treat each member as a human.

You are the most active member and the number 1 forum supporter of boddunan. From your activities, one can understand so easily about your interest in forum postings.

I am here for the last few months and have enjoyed every bit of it. There is a good scope to earn money through article writing. It depends upon the users how one wants to use this site and accordingly one can invest his/her time in writing.

Boddunan gives opportunities to its members to earn money. If they have time and interest they can utilize this opportunity to make money.

You are absolutely right. I have worked on three/four sites and realised that for home makers freelancing from home is very difficult. Though it seems we have ample time to invest, while going to bed we realise we did nothing very constructive on our writing platform. The time gets invested in cooking, answering every door bell, attend phone calls, other unlimited chores and attending the requirements of the family members. Ultimately, minimum writing is done on regular basis.

the number of ads carried by the site have gone up significantly but the rewards for participating in forum and for writing articles is not increased to attract still more participation.

This point was raised with hubpages also. The answer is that sites are out to make money and if one really wants to make money, one should launch his own site.

It surely is a crude answer. Can a website operate on its founder alone. It has to have participation from visitors and that brings ads. So properly sharing is a normal gesture.

well it depends upon one's mental condition of a particular day, because not every day will be a good day when one will be feeling awesomeness, there will be some day when one will feel bored and tired, so do one of our member is going through this and for this we don't have to worry, she will be OK after few days.

May I know how we can make money with our own site? I know that number of people who have own site are making money with google adsense. But it is not easy to get approval from adsense. Getting approval is according to the traffic of our site.

One has to try and feed the details into google and you will get names of people who can help get approval from adsense. Along with adsense you can also take Ads from Chitika.com. I have both these for my personal blog  on google and word press.
