Siachen is the world's highest active Battle field contested by India and Pakistan since 1984 when India launched Operation Meghdoot. Since the start of operation India lost 33 officers, 54 JCOs and 78 Jawans.. These statistics show that deaths due to Avalanchis are just a part of the The Job.
Siachen glacier took the life of more than 800 soldiers of Indian army. Most of them died because of the extreme weather condition in this region. The glacier is located in the disputed Kashmir region and is claimed by India and Pakistan. It is the highest battle ground on earth where India and Pakistan fought intermittently since 1984.
Working in such extreme weather conditions in the Siachen Glaciers is really a challenging job for Our sentinels, who work day in day out to keep the country Safe and Secure. Despite all the hardships, A Soldier accepts them with a smile and majestically say, " they are a part of their duty.

Hunumantappa, who hails from Dharwad in Karnataka has always been known to be a very brave person, who never gave up on things according to his family and teachers. He is in a coma now and fighting for his life and I sincerely pray and hope that he pulls through and recovers completely, because we need such brave men amidst a society filled with fakes..

Indian soldiers prove it many time their patriotism. In war and natural calamity they prove their self.

Absolutely. Displaying extraordinary courage and pouncing on the enemy is nothing new for our Brave Jawans. A Jawan, when in the Battle field thinks only about his Motherland.

You are 100% right. The life of the employees of defense are full of risk. There is no guarantee for their life. They are the people who are ready to sacrifice their life for the country. Only few people have the courage to join in defense and serve the country. We need to respect them.
" The phrase coined by the late PM Lal Bahadur Shastri " Jai Jawan Jai Kissan "is more relevant than any time. The way in which Terrorism is engulfing all over the world,it is a must to keep the country in a safe and secure condition. The Jawan Hanumanthappa who risked his life and family to save the Country, fought with the deadly Avalanche and made all the Indians proud. I pray for his early recovery.

The great Jawan Hanumanthappa is in critical stage. People in all over the country are praying for his recovery. The protection of Lord Hanuman is always with him and so the Lord can lead him in a real way of life. I am going to submit one rosary for him.

Mr.Hanumanthappa's family, friends and relatives are in happy mood when they heard that he is still alive. The villagers of Betadur is praying for his recovery. But his condition is extremely weak because multiple-organs dysfunction. He has been on ventilator support because of oxygen deprivation to the brain. Now his wife and daughter are with him in the hospital.
