success is easy in Bollywood than Hollywood. Only two actress make their place in Bollywood, katrina and Jakelene.

Well, not only these 2 there are many actresses who have come Hollywood or from other countries and settled in our countries film field. You have specified about Bollywood, Even in Tollywood also recently a heroine Amizacson has entered the field.

Tom Alters is only British by birth but he in Indian like other Indians, he is master of Urdu and Hindi.

Barring a couple of ladies I am not familiar with other actresses on the list, however I can add a few old actresses who were not Indian..

First would be the great Madhubala , who was from Afghanistan and Nadira , who was a Jewess from Israel and several who were from mixed parentage..

In due course more actors and actresses will enter Bollywood from western countries. This is because of globalisation and Indian love for fair skin. I don't think any African girl will make it to Bollywood.

It's a question of earning money. Many Actors and Actresses would come from different parts of the world to make money through their histrionic talents. Though not black, Tarina Patel is a South African actress, film producer and a Model, born in Cape Town and raised in Durban.

In the given list two or three female artists have really made a strong impact in Bollywood and in the field of ramp but rest are not that prominent till now.

we Indian welcomes are guest with plenty of love and give them the utmost respect. so we welcome the actress of other country with great love and they work hard also because they have to learn our native language and express their feelings also with this language which is Hindi and i think it very difficult the other person whose native language is not hindi

Helen has Burmese origins and David was an Indian Jew. Why no male actors are accepted and usually it is only females from abroad.

Acting is a good profession to make money. People who are capable in acting can act in any film. Country and language is not a problem in acting. People are always ready to welcome handsome actors and beautiful actresses.

Actually they are liked by us thats why they entered Bollywood. This is irony that we always fantasy foreigners and when we watch them on screen we like them.

I agree...In Kannada films there is or was a negro actor called Negro Johny , he acts as a villain in most of the films, but I find the way he is referred to by the media very cheap . Where is the need to add the word negro to his name ?

Yes it right that any actress from African countries never success in India, but it is also fact that we like fair skin but not white skin.

Priyanka Chopra, SmitaPatil are but two examples for Dark skinned, yet successful actresses in Bollywood.

In the Indian context, Dark skinned means black complexion, Yes. If you mean a Nigger, then it is not.

Please refrain from making such racist and contemptuous comments about others ...

nigger
ˈnɪɡə/
noun
offensive
  1. a contemptuous term for a black person.

Yes Nigger is an offensive word. Also there is no reason for Bollywood to accept black heroines as our preferences are different which does not necessarily mean there is any discrimination.

Normally, Indian people like Indian actors and actresses than foreign actors. We need to select the actors in accordance with the story of the film. Suppose in an Indian film, the actor is fall in love with an Australian girl, we need to bring an Australian girl to act in that film. Indian actresses cannot perform that role well.
