That's an apt point you raised. A real opposition should think about the country and join the Ruling party in implementing the good measures planned by the Ruling party. The BJP indeed has a absolute majority in the Lok Sabha and with allies has more than 300 seats. The opposition's views also have to be taken into consideration by the ruling party and now BJP has started doing it. Congress has not lost power for the first time. It is BJP which is taking time to change itself from its earlier status as India's Permanent Opposition Party to that of a ruling party. They still treat Congress as a ruling party but have now started accepting it as an opposition party. repeated Congress bashing is going to stall Parliament, that is how they can give back. It takes two to shake hands.
Shake hands with congress- for what? To exchange the lackhs of crores Rupees that congress members are sitting on for decades of their rule in this country. All the activities of corrupt leaders to stop BJP are nothing but a method of creating such a situation where the government has nothing else to do but constantly fight with problems. The corrupt ones are trying their best to waste all the time in the process and show the ruling party down.
Most of the times the political parties are always interested to oppose the ruling party so that they fail to do good work for the nation. Later, at the time of the next election the fingers can be easily raised against the the ruling party for being unsuccessful in implementing some good policies for the nation's progress. If the opposition get success in fooling people then they get a fair chance to come into power. Thus, nation has nothing to do with their ideology. They only wish to grab power.
If the Congress is sitting on lakhs of crores of rupees let the BJP unearth these. It will ensure their longevity as a ruling party for a large number of years. BJP is extending its hands for a handshake to the opposition parties to get its Bills passed. It is not a climb down as you are concluding but a democratic way of operating. Same way it has made a U turn on talks with Pakistan.

Yes opposition success in fooling peoples because peoples like to be make them fool. At time of election we remember money inflation how many of us remember that how opposition interrupt Parliament.

@Anil, then making charges that previous ruling parties are sitting on lakhs of crores of rupees has no meaning. It seems that in India it is the first time there is an opposition party opposing the government. Do you not find it surprising that 45 members are making 282 plus sweat and the supporters are almost pleading that opposition should not oppose but support.

How can I support emergency. I am only saying that opposition will behave as opposition irrespective of whether they are sitting on lakhs of rupees or declared emergency. The present role counts.
A constructive opposition is an asset to a democracy unlike what we have today ! What we see today is a jumble of parties since no one has enough numbers to sit in the opposition, making noise and making sure that no work gets done , based on the flimsiest of reasons ! Today the issue was National herald court summons... The woman went into dramatics about how is she is Bahu of Indira Gandhi first and then Bahu of India, which was to say the least was highly comical ! Why bring a court issue to the floor of the parliament and disrupt the hearing ? It is almost as if she and he family are beyond everything, totally untouchable !

yes talking about underground lakha and crores of rupess is worthless, meaning less and wastage of time. It is better to think about future. Once Dr. Abdul Kalam said do politics for development of the country, not for the politics. At present congress and other parties are doing politics for politics. They are not opposing government for the betterment of the country, it is their frustration.
