I welcome this new innovation They are suitable in the present scenario when air pollution and traffic congestion have reached alarming levels. It's suitable for dealing with narrow roads with its easy maneuverability without causing traffic problems.

A Japanese car with four wheels and two seats!! Surely it would help in reducing traffic congestion.

Additionally, these cars do not have emissions  which jeopardize the environment.

Look at the scissors doors that open upward! They look amazing.

Everything about this Nissan is good. Such small cars are quite suitable for our Indian road conditions because of its easy maneuverability.

nissan is one of the biggest company distributing cars all over the world. they believed in innovation which will satisfy the buyer and the environment

Nissan cars are easily maneuverable and and Eco friendly. they will be more ideal for Indian narrow and congested roads.

Due to lack of proper government policies & schemes for E-vehicle we are facing such serious  issue of pollution. If proper policies formed by government then it will also reduce the requirement of crude & it will directly benefit the country.

But then e-vehicles have so costly in the end that people try to avoid buying them. You know that is the only reason most manufacturers have stopped making them. The main problem is it saves oil but you have to change batteries after every 300 charges and then the whole affairs become costlier than petrol. besides the e vehicles have their limitations like speed and duration you can drive them on road.

We already have a car REVA like this one the only difference is that we have not yet marketed it properly

I agree. For any manufacturer,  the way the Marketing strategy is employed to promote the product plays a key role. The strategy should be kept in mind the necessity  of safe guarding the buyer and emission factors. You know how important is the emission factor to balance the

ecological balance.. And Nissan is not an exception.

There are other bad factors related to e vehicles and one of the major problem is consumption of electricity which is a rare commodity in India beside the Lead-Acid battery used in these vehicles have their own complications on environment.

Having said this all I would go for an ecar if the power supply improves and the car could travel a little more than it currently does.

I too have seen the REVA. Cute car but expensive. Although it is believed that with no recurrent petrol filling costs it makes up for the price in a few years. Convenient definitely but battery charging takes too long and what if it gets exhausted mid way ???anguished.png
