Records related to Netaji could have been spoiled, distroyed or disintegrated. Netaji records may be only of historic importance, But one farmer's land record are also lost and he cannot get compensation. There are many cases where innocent people suffer just because of poor record keeping in govt. offices. Read further:

It is really sad, now all records can be computerised but for the older ones books are still needed...I wonder what measures they will take to compensate those poor farmers .Hope they have some kind of receipt which could be taken into consideration..

Dereliction of duty. Irresponsibility are the old diseases prevailing in the offices. It's rampant in state Government offices.

 

yes the record keeping is always a problem for the government ,it is not from now it is from the begging of the time when India gets independent

Do you mean this " Bad up keeping of Records started after independence? "I don't think so. This habit of bad up keeping of the records was there even before independence.

 

May be the records related to Netaji's death were destroyed by the persons who don't want to disclose the actual cause of circumstances in which Netaji's death was happened. And now they are blaming that the documents are not available due to bad record keeping.

Netaji's records or to that matter any record in government offices is in a pathetic condition. More than that, staff and officers' behaviour is still more pathetic.
