It is said Crime walks two steps ahead of law. Criminals find new techniques to carry on their criminal acts. The same thing happened in this Witch's case.

In India still there are people who are not much educated and have blind faiths. The woman was killed because of superstition.

But the woman has not done harm to others. It was the pretext used by the anti social elements to kill the woman.

It also shows the double face of our society, Asharam with all his crimes wanders around free and has followers largely women supporting him and a helpless woman inspite of being innocent has absolutely no support from anyone ! I wonder when we will become civilised and humane as a society .On the one hand we worship mother, probably to cover up for all the guilt they feel for abusing other women..

The said woman was conducting a meeting comprising of devotees. She was not teaching witchcraft as alleged by her attackers. It was a case settling the old scores and the miscreants used witchcraft a pretext to kill her. Nothing more.

The woman conducting devotees' meeting had declared that there was a witch and she gave her identity. Then people went to the alleged 'witch' and killed her. The woman preacher is certainly an offender.

The people who took the law into their hands are the biggest offenders.

blind myth now also exist in India, there are many place where no education sector are made till now for old and uneducated person (night school).

Education helps in driving away superstitions and beliefs sans rationality. In this regard awareness is more important.
